A Sitdown with PPC Co-Leaders Avril and Jaeun

This week was filled with lots of fun minigames and team spirit all around. To gain some insight into what happened during the Winter Olympics, we sat down with Avril and Jaeun, the current co-leaders of PPC.

Q: What was your favorite part of the week?

Avril: My favorite part of the week was the day of the Pizzatron competitions. It was a lot of fun, and everyone was so hyped! It was a great day for more people than usual to get medals for their team.

Jaeun: My favourite part was the time after the Closing Ceremony! When Team MVPs were awarded and people realized the Olympics is over, and that the channels & roles would be removed soon. People were sad and expressing how much they enjoyed the week and how much they’d miss their team members! Throughout the week we didn’t really have time to say we’re happy or that we’re having fun because we were all too busy competing so hearing that at the end was really heart-warming. 😌

Q: How do you think people liked it and how do you think it went?

Avril: I think people liked it a lot! I saw lots of good comments about the theme. I think people really liked the return of the roles from the last Olympics and the new addition of the team mvp trophies too. Everything went pretty smoothly!

Jaeun:  I think people really enjoyed it honestly! The troops were hyped up about every new game, and even the non winning teams were still having fun despite not having too many points. It’s nice seeing people still sign up for the games even though they don’t think they have a chance at winning because it’s the fun and participation that matters!

Q: What sorts of exciting events does the Party Planning Committee have planned for the future?

Avril: Still thinking about new exciting event ideas for the future! Hope you guys like them and stay tuned.

Jaeun:  Stay tuned to find out! I’m not giving any spoilers this time. 🤐

Conclusion

And that is the review of the 2021-2022 RPF Winter Olympics! I hope you all enjoyed the week as it was a lot of fun and very competitive. Big thanks as always to RPF HCOM and the Party Planning Committee leaders for putting on such an amazing week. Also would like to give a big thanks to the participants who attended the minigames to help earn medals for their team. At the end of the week, a total of 44 people earned the Rebel Olympian role!
