Event Recaps

The weekend was filled with amazing events that had Navy and Air Force go head to head with each other. In total there were 5 events this weekend: a Kahoot followed by a CPR event on Friday, two CPR events on Saturday, and to the end of the weekend, the big Branch Battle. Without further ado here are the Event recaps!

On Friday during EU time, the first event went down which was a Halloween-themed Kahoot. It was a fun Kahoot filled with 43 questions that had the Rebels thinking. At the end of the event, Air Force would come on top, with them coming in 1st, 2nd, and 4th place on the leaderboard!

There was another competition held on this day during EU/US; it was a fun Capture the Flag event! This time it was a shocking end as the two branches tied.

Sunday held the final event of the weekend which was the big Branch Battle between Navy and Air Force! It was a great battle as both teams were very quick and performed amazing tactics. At the end of it, all Air Force took the dub.

Funny Moments

While the weekend was full of friendly competition and a race to the top, the rebels also had some funny moments in the main chat and at our events!

Behind the Scenes with Jae and Avril

This past weekend was full of events, competition, and spirit. To gain more insight into what happened during Branch Spirit Weekend and what there is in store for the future, we sat down with Avril and Jae, the current co-leaders of PPC.

Q: Firstly, what was your favorite part of the weekend?

Jae: I think my fav was the jetpack adventure tournament 😌 i enjoyed seeing everyone partake and contribute to the overall score of the team!

Avril: I think my favorite part of the weekend wasn’t a particular event (unfortunately, I couldn’t attend many of the events). i just loved seeing the whole atmosphere with the hosited rank colors, people using the amazing emotes the graphics team made, the server banner, etc.

Q: This was the first event of its kind and the first time you lead a spirit weekend together! How do you think people liked it and how do you think it went?

Avril: I think people liked it a lot! I saw a few people say so in main as well. There hadn’t been any branch battles for rpf specifically in a while either, so I think a lot of people appreciated having something dedicated to it. Overall, there were some bumps in the road with planning and things we didn’t expect, but I still think the weekend went pretty well and people enjoyed it!

Jae: not to toot my own horn but i think people liked it 😌 been a bit sad to see the lack of hype for branch battles the past few months so i was happy to see people hyping up their branches again! as for how it went aha the planning had some ups and downs but i think ppc managed to execute the weekend well anyways 😌 ((hi ppc we appreciate u))

Q: What sorts of exciting events does the Party Planning Committee have planned for the future? Can we get a sneak peak?

Avril: A magician never reveals their secrets! You’ll just have to stay tuned for the fun things we have planned. 😜 But I will say that we do have some holiday stuff coming up!

Jae: my lips are sealed :zip:

Thank you Jae and Avril for taking the time to interview, and congratulations on leading a very successful weekend! We’re looking forward to more fun PPC events that are coming in the future!

Conclusion

And that is the review of Rebel Branch Spirit Weekend! I hope you all enjoyed the weekend as it was a blast and a lot of fun. Big thanks once again to the Party Planning Commitee for putting on such an amazing weekend. Also would like to give a big thanks to the people that participated this weekend. At the end of all the competition only one branch can win it all… Air Force has won the weekend and their members earned the Best Branch role!

Stay tuned for the next themed week brought to you by the Party Planning Commitee Rebels!
