TROOP INTERVIEWS – AndrewFTW631, Missy, Cracked, Coric

Troop Interviews

This week marks the sixtieth official edition of “Troop Interviews”, where a team of interviewers (currently Cosmo, Royal, Reeeeee, Brenatto, and Yvng) ask two or more people questions. Interviews won’t have same questions; each interview’s purpose is to show originality and have its own unique highlights. Along with that, the questions asked give us a better understanding of each soldier and how different or similar everyone is in the community. There’s an exponential amount of soldiers here in the Rebel Penguin Federation, so it will be difficult to get to everyone who requests an interview. The Rebel Broadcast Team graciously appreciates the patience you all have and hope to see you guys in a post one day!

The four interviewees for this week are AndrewFTW631, Missy, Cracked, and Coric!

AndrewFTW631

Hey hey! It’s Yvng and I’ll be your host today for this week’s edition of Troop Interviews. To start this off we have Brenatto interviewing current Master Sergeant, AndrewFTW631. Let’s not waste any more time and jump right into it.

How long has AndrewFTW631 been a part of RPF?

Brenatto’s first question for AndrewFTW631 was how long he has been a part of RPF. He responds by saying he has been a part of RPF for 3 years. Woah, that is such a long time. Then he continues, saying he is returning to RPF which they call home, and he can’t wait for what’s to come. It’s always great seeing older troops coming back and being active.

What does AndrewFTW631 think of the current era of RPF?

Bren’s next question for Andrew was what he thinks of the current era of RPF, and what he thinks is different between when he joined before and now! He responds by saying that events were only held on CPRewritten at the time since CPArmies didn’t exist. The army community has definitely evolved from then till now (shoutout to CPAH). Andrew also said that he realized that we do training events now, which RPF didn’t do back around the time he joined. Like Bren said, we always got to be ready for battle. Andrew then says that we wore the Spartan Helmet as part of our uniform instead of the current Puffle Bandana. (Fun fact, the Roman helmet is a Cosmo signature and is part of his current uniform today.)

How did AndrewFTW631 first find out about RPF?

“How did you first find out about RPF?” was Bren’s next question for Andrew. He responded that he found RPF back in the fall of 2017 (woah, such a long time ago) and saw a group of RPF members at the time on CPRewritten. They told Andrew to join and guided him through the process of of being verified and joining the discord. Woah, shoutout to them CPR Recruits!

If AndrewFTW631 could have any superpower, what would it be and why?

Now for a non-RPF-focused question, Bren asked Andrew if he could have any superpower, what would it be and why? He responded with time travel because it would show him changes or memories that he had in his life and it would be interesting to see this. I agree, this would be a cool superpower to have, being able to see your favorite memories from the past and to see your future!

What are AndrewFTW631’s goals in RPF?

For Bren’s last question for Andrew, Bren brought it back to a RPF-related question asking Andrew what his goals are in RPF. He responded that he wants to at least get to the Officer ranks and show that he cares about RPF. Such dedication shown from Andrew here and it would be lovely to see Andrew as an Officer one day, if he makes it there.

To wrap up this interview, Bren asked Andrew if they have any last words. Andrew responded that he doesn’t have any and thanks Bren for the lovely interview. A lovely interview to read indeed.

Missy and Cracked

Moving on, I got the chance to interview the two newest additions to the Officers team, Missy and Cracked.

We are dog running to get this interview started!

How long has Missy and Cracked been in RPF?

My first question for Missy and Cracked was how long they have been in RPF! Missy responds with 6 months in 4 days (early congrats on 6 months!) and Cracked responds with almost 6 months as well (early congrats to Cracked as well)! After this Cracked then says he is about to retire, followed by a bunch of (srs)). Sure hope Cracked isn’t actually being (srs)).

What motivated Missy and Cracked to get to where they are now in RPF?

My next question for our two newest additions to staff was what motivated them to get to where they are now in RPF! Missy responded that it was the people and the friendships that motivated her to get to where she is; also, shoutout to Avril and Lanie for motivating her as well. She was also active in the community as a troop, so she wanted to do more for RPF. As for Cracked, what motivated him was similar to Missy’s response; it was the people and meeting new friends along the way that motivated him. Also, shoutout to the Summer Olympics that made him feel like he belonged in RPF! I guess you can say RPF has a lot of great people and lots of friendly faces in the community. Then, after this, there was a bit of back and forth with the past Olympic teams.

What are Missy and Cracked looking forward to now that they are a part of RPF Staff?

The next question I asked Missy and Cracked was what they are looking forward to now that they are a part of staff! Missy responded that she wants to become a part of a team one day (shoutout to all the teams within RPF). She is also excited to give out roles to people and setting recruits up in our #welcome channel. Lastly, she finishes with that she’s looking forward to start writing event posts! Looks like Missy can’t wait to begin her new roles and responsibilities as Staff. Cracked responded to the question by saying he wants to make troops feel welcome in RPF, since he knows it’s hard for people to just jump into chat and say hi (I def felt this when I was a troop). Cracked also wants to be a role model: someone to look up to for troops who want to become a mod like him one day; shoutout once again to Avril for helping him stay motivated and being a role model. Such a wholesome response; can’t wait to see Cracked contribute more to the community.

What advice would Missy and Cracked give to Troop’s who are aspiring to be a part of RPF Staff?

My next question I gave to Missy and Cracked was what advice they would give to troops who seek to become an Officer! Missy responded that getting to Cadet is the first step; don’t get demotivated to fill out the Comment for Promo if you aren’t getting it. She says the best way to become a Cadet is to be active in #main-chat, to hype events, and to recruit here and there as well. Once you get to Cadet, she says to not give up and to keep being as active as you can in the server. An important thing to do is to bring in new recruits and to welcome them into the community. Just keep putting in the hard work and eventually you will get promoted to Staff. She finishes off by giving a shoutout to all of the current Officer Cadets <3. Cracked responded to the question by saying to not think too hard into it as it will burn you out in no time. He says if you enjoy RPF and are an overall nice person putting in the effort, you’ll eventually become staff! Cracked then finishes this off by telling troops to enjoy their troop days in RPF, to make sure to be active, and to put in some work that would make them look like future mods; it will all pay off eventually. Some lovely advice Missy and Cracked gave: troops out there reading, make sure to take notes if you one day aspire to become a part of RPF Staff!

Outside of RPF what are Missy and Cracked’s hobbies?

My final question for Missy and Cracked was outside RPF-related topics! I asked the two of them what their hobbies are, outside of RPF! Missy participates in Cross Country and often goes on runs (as a sprinter in track, I felt this). Missy also plays the bass (and plugs our Music division). Other than that, Missy also enjoys writing to pen-pals and friends. Once again, another talented person to add to the already talented community of RPF! Cracked responded to the question, saying he likes to hang out with friends IRL. Cracked also likes to vibe to music and loves to game as well. To end off, Cracked adds that he tried to pick up an instrument many times, but isn’t creative enough (I can def feel that LOL). These two have some fun and cute activities they love doing outside of RPF.

To wrap up this wonderful interview I asked Missy and Cracked if they had any last words! Cracked thanked me for the interview and also said he looks forward to meeting and working with staff as well as meeting new troops. Missy also thanked me for the interview and can’t wait to meet everyone in staff as well. She finishes off by saying good luck to everyone who aspires to want to become a part of Staff one day. This wraps up this lovely interview as we move on to our last for the day…

Coric

Moving on to our final interview of the day, we have our Troop of the Week #174, Coric, who I had the chance to interview! Let’s jump right into it!

Hell yeah let’s begin!

How does Coric feel to become Troop of the week?

My first question for Coric is how he feels about becoming Troop of the Week! He responded that it feels great, and he is still in shock. It certainly is a good feeling and is shocking to know you stood out as a great member of the community!

What is Coric looking forward to being Troop of the Week?

To follow up my last question, I asked Coric what he looks forward to as Troop of the Week! He responded with attending events and talking with everyone. Awww cute – events are always a fun thing to enjoy and attend, and also it’s fun to vibe and talk to the fellow members of the community!

What advice would Coric give to other Troop’s aspiring to be Troop of the Week?

My next question for Coric was what advice he’d give to other Troops who aspire to be Troop of the Week! Coric responded with just be yourself and treat everyone the way you want to be treated! Such a simple and some nice advice to give to someone! Troops, take some notes!

What are Coric’s other hobbies?

For my next question I asked Coric a non-RPF-related question and asked what are his other hobbies besides art? Coric responded that he loves to bake and to ride his motorcycle. Oooo, such lovely hobbies to have outside, baking can be very fun and the motorcycle one sounds so cool!

What are Coric’s goals/ranks he wants to achieve in RPF?

For my final question for Coric, I asked him what his goals and rank he hopes to achieve in RPF are! He answered saying he wants to make it to cadet! It would be nice to see another lovely addition to RPF Staff! <3

To finish off the interview I congratulated Coric on earning the title of Troop of the Week! As always I asked him if he had any last words! He responded with “Always fight the good fight”. Fight the good fight indeed!

Well, that’s a wrap on this edition of Troop Interviews!

Thank you to everyone who read all the wonderful interviews, and I hope to see you all again next time!
