Troop Interviews

This week marks the sixty-fifth official edition of “Troop Interviews”, where a team of interviewers (currently Brenatto, Yvng, Mars, Sharki and Cracked) asks two or more people questions. Interviews won’t have same questions; each interview’s purpose is to show originality and have its own unique highlights. Along with that, the questions asked give us a better understanding of each soldier and how different or similar everyone is in the community. There’s an exponential amount of soldiers here in the Rebel Penguin Federation, so it will be difficult to get to everyone who requests an interview. The Rebel Broadcast Team graciously appreciates the patience you all have and hope to see you guys in a post one day!

The three interviewees for this week are Cracked, Green Green, and Master DS!

Cracked

Hey there rebels, hope you are all doing okay! I’m Cracked and I will be your host for this week’s edition of Troop Interviews! To kick it off, Yvng interviewed Troop of the Week #183, Cracked! Wait a second, that’s me!

To start the interview, Yvng asked me if I was ready! Both of us were eager to begin! #downwithbeardance

How does it feel to have become Troop of the Week?

Yvng’s first question for me was what it felt like to become TOTW! I responded saying that it was a nice experience for sure, albeit a shocking one. All the pings I got definitely made the moment even more memorable! Seems like Yvng had a similar reaction when he got TOTW!

Why do you think you earned Troop of the Week?

As for the next question, Yvng asked me why I think I earned the title, and I replied by saying that being active in the server, attending events and just making friends and having fun is what got me there. Yvng’s answer to that was so wholesome I couldn’t help but blush!

What advice would you give to other troops who aspire to be Troop of the Week?

Moving on, Yvng was curious about the tips I’d give aspiring troops who wish to become TOTW in the future, to which I said that the most important thing is to always be yourself, try to attend events and have fun! Yvng suggests that all troops take notes!

If you could have any superpower, what would it be?

Onto a fun question, Yvng wanted to know about what I’d choose as a superpower if I could, so I revealed that being invisible would be a fun one! Getting lots of attendees at our events is also fun, but we already get that anyway :p

After getting Troop of the Week, what other goals/ranks do you hope to achieve in RPF?

Onto Yvng’s next question, he asked about my plans for the future, and I answered by saying I’m just chilling at the moment and don’t really have anything set in stone for now. The #cracked4doot campaign is over, so let’s start the #cracked4fired campaign now!

Yvng asked if I had any last words to wrap up, and of course I couldn’t end the interview properly without screaming ‘FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT!’ Thanks again to Yvng for having me!

GreenGreen

For our second interview today, Mars interviewed Troop of the Week #185, GreenGreen! Let’s see what it’s all about!

It’s lovely to see both Mars and GreenGreen are doing great! And hopefully Mars doesn’t fall asleep on us, because it’s gonna be an exciting interview for sure!

How long have you been a part of RPF?

For the first question, Mars asks Green about their time in RPF, and it turns around they’ve been around since last summer! I completely agree with Mars here, summer time was amazing, though I might be biased because I also joined in the summer.

How does it feel to have become Troop of the Week?

For the next question, Mars asks Green what they felt when becoming TOTW, and they were quite shocked about it! Mars can relate to that, and so can I!

Why do you think you earned Troop of the Week?

Moving on, Mars asked Green about why they got TOTW, and they believe that their consistency and their kindness in chat were key elements in achieving the title, but they are also important in the real world. That’s a really positive outlook with which Mars and I completely agree with!

What advice would you give to other troops who aspire to be Troop of the Week in the future?

Following up, Mars asks Green about their advice for troops who wish to become TOTW, and Green points out many different ways one can achieve this title, such as participating in contests and attending events. Anything counts as long as you are having fun, according to Green! Such valuable advice, it’s definitely worth taking notes!

What is your favorite food?

And for the final and toughest question, what’s Green’s favorite food? They say that penne pasta has to be their favorite! How curious that pasta is also Mars’ favorite! And I’m not going to lie, I’m also getting quite hungry with the pasta talk!

Master DS

For the last interview, we have Sharki interviewing Troop of the Week #186, Master DS! Let’s get right to it!

Seems like DS is ready for her interview!

How does it feel to have become Troop of the Week?

For the first question, Sharki asks DS about her experience of becoming TOTW! I must agree that it’s quite shocking to get TOTW, but it was very well deserved for sure!

Why do you think you earned Troop of the Week?

Next up, Sharki asks DS why she thinks she got TOTW, and she says she wasn’t really expecting to get it at first, but her personal growth within the server and her kind and helpful attitude is what got her the title! I agree with Sharki here, DS is setting quite a good example for the troops, and that hasn’t gone unnoticed!

What advice would you give to other troops who aspire to be Troop of the Week?

As for the next question, Sharki asks DS if she has any advice to give to other troops, and she answers by saying that troops should always be true to themselves and have fun! That’s a sweet message! I also think that being yourself is the best way to stand out 🙂

What is your favorite part about being Troop of the Week?

Onto Sharki’s next question, she’s curious about DS’s favorite part about being TOTW! That hot pink color is pretty cool, I’d agree with that! DS’s truly favorite part however, is being congratulated in chat. That’s a pretty good reminder of all her accomplishments, and I agree that it makes you feel very swag for a hot minute!

Who is your favorite staff member?

For a not so serious question, Sharki asks if DS has any favorite staff member, but she dodges the danger by saying we are all amazing! Smart, DS! Sharki do be actin kinda sus!!!

What’s your favorite food?

Moving on to the final question of this interview, Sharki asks about DS’s favorite food! She’s very confident about her choice: lasagna! That’s definitely up there in my list of favorite foods too! Also I agree that Sharki should try it, it’s never too late! I’m getting hungry again so we better move on!

To finish it up, Sharki asked if DS had any last words, and she just wanted to thank staff for including her in the community :’) It’s always lovely to have you with us, DS!
