TROOP INTERVIEWS – ELEX, SPOOKYPICKLE

This week marks the ninety-third official edition of “Troop Interviews”, where a team of interviewers (currently Cracked, EllaBella, and Rachel) asks two or more people questions. Interviews won’t have the same questions; each interview’s purpose is to show originality and have its unique highlights. Along with that, the questions asked to give us a better understanding of each troop and how different or similar everyone is in the community. There’s an exponential amount of members here in the Rebel Penguin Federation, so it won’t be easy to get to everyone who requests an interview. The Rebel Broadcast Team graciously appreciates the patience you all have and hope to see you guys in a post one day!

We have two interviews this week with elexonck and spookypickle.

Elex

How are you doing, rebels? This is Cracked and I will be your host in this edition of Troop Interviews! To start off strong, EllaBella interviewed our Rebel Commander, elexonck, regarding their leader position and newly achieved CPA Legend status. That is quite the achievement in one’s penguin career, so let’s see what he had to say!

How does it feel to achieve CPA Legend?

Ella starts firing at elex with a well-deserved congratulation on becoming a Legend, following up with a question on how he felt when receiving it! While elex is not wrong in thinking it may be kinda cringe-worthy, he still admits that it was a welcome and appreciated surprise.

How long have you been a part of RPF?

Most of us young penguin folk may not know about how long our Rebel Commander has really been in RPF, so Ella asks precisely that! Four years is a very long time, and so much has happened since 2018.

What goals have you to achieve as a Rebel Commander?

Next, Ella inquires about elex’s plans for the future, to which elex responds he simply wants to keep doing what is best for RPF. A fair goal, in my opinion!

How long did it take you to reach HCOM?

Ella was also curious about the time elex spent as an Officer, which he confirms to have been less than 6 months! I agree with Ella that it doesn’t seem like a long time, but I suppose promotions and the general state of the army were different back then.

What are some random fun facts about you?

For a more unrelated question, Ella wants to know about some fun quirks elex has. Apparently, elex had the privilege of owning a 3DS before most other people, but also owns a pigeon and has mastered the rare ability to say the alphabet backwards. Don’t worry, Ella, I too think it’s beyond the scope of what my brain can achieve.

Interesting technique, bet today’s phones can’t teach this to kids… Nokias are simply superior.

Thank YOU for the interview, and congrats once again to elex on achieving CPA Legend status!

Spookypickle

For the other interview of today, Rachel interviewed Spookypickle, who is currently a Corporal in RPF. Let’s see how Spooky has been enjoying the experience so far!

Of course, Rachel starts by making sure our guest is ready for the questions!

How did you discover RPF?

Rachel first asks about what brought Spooky to RPF, and apparently it was an event that brought them in! A cake-making event, no less, such a sweet way to join. (Sorry for this)

What’s your favorite Club Penguin party?

Rachel follows it up with a very interesting question regarding Spooky’s favourite Club Penguin party! For spooky, it’s definitely the Christmas parties, due to the nostalgia, the music and the membership gift! I can relate to this as I also have very fond memories of those parties in og Club Penguin, and my parents also got me my first membership then!

How did you come up with your username?

Rachel continues the interview by asking about the origins behind the name of spookypickle. They explain that it comes from spooky’s love of pickles, and the horror game Dead by Daylight! Quite a creative combo, and “spookypickle” does have a nice ring to it.

Do you have any hobbies?

Rachel also asks about spooky’s hobbies, which consist of gaming and working out at the gym. Sounds like a greatly balanced lifestyle! Remember to stay fit and healthy, guys.

What other video games do you like to play?

Rachel wants to know a bit more about spooky’s taste in videogames, and they list a few, including Animal Crossing and Stardew Valley. I agree that spooky has great taste in videogames! I should probably check out Potion Permit and Unpacked, as well!

To wrap up the interview, Rachel lets spooky say a few final words. They express being happy to be part of RPF and also excited for what’s to come. That’s incredibly sweet, and we are very happy to have you, as well! Thank you for the interview.

That’s it for this edition of Troop Interviews!

We hope you enjoyed reading about what our guests had to say, and see you next time!
