This week marks the eighty-ninth official edition of “Troop Interviews”, where a team of interviewers (currently Cracked, EllaBella, and EssAreTee) asks two or more people questions. Interviews won’t have the same questions; each interview’s purpose is to show originality and have its unique highlights. Along with that, the questions are asked to give us a better understanding of each troop and how different or similar everyone is in the community. There’s an exponential amount of members here in the Rebel Penguin Federation, so it won’t be easy to get to everyone who requests an interview. The Rebel Broadcast Team graciously appreciates the patience you all have and hope to see you guys in a post one day!
This time, we have a total of three interviews starring Master DS, Mizuskyu and LittySkitty!
Master DS
Hey y’all, this is Cracked and I’ll be your host for this latest edition of Troop Interviews! To get things started, EssAreTee interviewed one of our most veteran moderators, Master DS, regarding her latest promotion. Let’s jump right on it!
Ess begins with a sweet message congratulating DS on the promotion to Lieutenant General, quite the milestone!
How does it feel being promoted after 6 months?
For a fresh start, Ess asks DS how she feels after finally obtaining this promo, to which DS answers saying she feels relieved, and remarks how fast it felt. Rightfully so! Ess follows it up saying mod life is going extremely fast for him, too. We appreciate your hard work, both of you!
What’s your favourite part about being an Officer?
For Ess’ second question, DS is asked about her favourite part of being officer. According to DS, her personal favourite is being mentored by HCOM, as it helps her develop leadership skills and handle her duties well. Ess totally agrees! It’s nice that you value your mentors so much and can learn from them!
How long have you been in RPF? Do you remember one of your first events?
Moving on to a double question, Ess is curious about DS’ time in RPF and her first event. Although DS can’t recall much of her early days, she does mention it’s been about 3 years since she stepped foot in the server. That’s quite a long time indeed!
How has RPF changed since then?
Onto a very interesting question, Ess inquires about DS’ perception on how much RPF has changed since her early days. From DS’ perspective, we’ve become more friendly and community oriented and less focused on the whole competitive penguin army stuff, but the rebellion never dies regardless! I can definitely see her point here, very interesting!
Do you see yourself rising ranks over the years?
Ess wants to know about DS’ plans for the future of her career. DS says she would like to reach General soon, and then see if HCOM is within reach as well! Ess suggests taking your time and vibing, which is something I can totally agree with. I have no doubt DS will get there in time!
What do you think about Christmas Chaos? Do you see RPF prepared for the tournament?
As the upcoming Christmas Chaos tourney approaches, Ess takes the opportunity to ask DS for her take on it! We are ready to kick some butt as DS very well says. I definitely agree it’s one of the most exciting tournaments of the year!
Do you have any tips to give for people who wanna be Officer?
Before wrapping up, Ess asks DS for advice on reaching the staff ranks in the server. DS encourages everyone to be true to themselves and feel free to help out anyone if they have the chance. Definitely some quality advice both Ess and I can agree with!
Mizuskyu
For the second interview of this edition, Mizuskyu was asked by Cracked (hey, that’s me!) about their experience as Troop of the Week. Let us get on with it!
I start by congratulating Mizu on a well deserved achievement!
What was the first thing you said after opening the TOTW post?
To begin with the questions, I ask about Mizu’s first reaction to the totw announcement, which actually came as a big shock to them, as they describe it!
What’s your favorite rank colour?
Onto another question, I decide to ask about what colour from our ranks Mizu likes most. As it turns out, the General green is their favourite, since they love green! Green is indeed an amazing colour, and the officer tone just makes it even better.
Do you have any set goals in RPF?
To learn more about Mizu’s future plans, I ask if they have already decided on an objective. Despite Mizu admitting not being able to come to many events, I still remind them that there are other things to take into consideration, such as chat presence! We all love seeing Mizu and any new troops in general appear in chat from time to time.
What’s your advice for any troops who joined recently?
Before we call it a day, I ask Mizu for advice directed at new troops interested in climbing the ranks or even getting this prestigious title of totw! Mizu is quick to encourage everyone to come chat away in main chat. To be honest, I couldn’t agree more.
Would you like to add anything else?
Mizu really likes black coffee.
LittySkitty
As for the last interview of the edition, we have our newest 3ic, Litty, who will be answering some questions asked by EllaBella!

How does it feel to have become a part of the High Command?
Ella starts off strong asking Litty how she felt about reaching this position, to which Litty responds that while she never expected to get this far, she’s happy with her progress as she has reached HCOM sooner than she expected. Hard work pays off, I say!
How long were you an Officer for?
Onto some dates, Ella asks about Litty’s total time as staff. Litty recalls getting mod on a very special date in February, which means she was only Officer for 9 months! That’s some serious speed!
What do you think is the most important responsibility of being an hcom?
Next, Ella asks about what Litty considers to be the most important of all hcom duties. Litty thinks planning behind the scenes stuff is most important. I can definitely see this, since hcom is always planning new things and trying to make sure everything runs as smoothly as possible!
Do you plan on changing anything now that you’re part of HCOM?
Ella asks Litty a curious question about whether or not she’ll try and change certain things from her new position! Litty says that she is just excited to provide new ideas for events and parties. More beansock? That can be negotiated, gonna have to disagree with Ella on this one.
How did you come up with your username?
For a swift change of direction, Ella asks Litty where her name comes from! Litty went in depth on this topic in another RBT post, so be sure to read up on that here!
If you had to choose from pineapple pizza or pepperoni pizza which one would you have?
Continuing with another fun question, Ella asks Litty to choose between pineapple pizza or pepperoni pizza. Despite Litty’s (rather strange!) taste for pineapple pizza, it seems that her first pick is pepperoni, so there’s some redeeming qualities there… She lives to see another day for now.
Any last words you wish to say?
As for Litty’s final words, she encourages everyone to eat lots of whatever pizza you like and to fight the good fight! I’m not gonna lie, any pizza is a good pizza, despite whatever banter there may be with some toppings. Follow Litty’s advice, because as long as you enjoy something, that’s all that matters!
