Troop Interviews
This week marks the forty-sixth official edition of “Troop Interviews”, where a team of interviewers (currently Rane, Cosmo, and Royal) ask two or more people questions. Interviews won’t have same questions; each interview’s purpose is to show originality and have its own unique highlights. Along with that, the questions asked give us a better understanding of each soldier and how different or similar everyone is in the community. There’s an exponential amount of soldiers here in the Rebel Penguin Federation, so it will be difficult to get to everyone who requests an interview. The Rebel Broadcast Team graciously appreciates the patience you all have and hope to see you guys in a post one day!
The three interviewees for this week are Patrick, Lime & Ariana!
Patrick
Another week, another set of interviews! First on our list of interviews today is Patrick, who recently became a moderator in [staff]. I know what all you lower troops are thinking, great, another power abuser. However, there’s nothing to fear, as this [staff member] looks like a good one! Let’s see what Royal had to ask [them]!
How did Patrick react getting promoted to Officer?
Royal’s first question for Patrick to kick off the interview was about how she felt being promoted. Patrick had a shocked reaction, saying how it was surprising it had only been one week of her being an Officer Cadet. Obviously, Patrick is one of the mod school’s elites and that’s why she graduated so soon!
How does it feel being staff versus being a troop?
Next, Royal asked Patrick how it feels being staff versus being a troop. Patrick responded saying although being a troop is more relaxed, being staff is enjoyable too, even with the hard work! Yes, I agree it’s hard work muting and bullying Amoji all day. Indeed, very, VERY enjoyable as well. Also, Patrick mentioned how it’s nice having more trust placed in her by HCOM and it has been a great experience so far!
What made Patrick stay in RPF? Did she plan on reaching Officer?
Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, lots of people have a newfound amount of time on their hands during the lockdown. And by lots of people, in this case, I mean Patrick. Patrick used that free time to get more comfortable in RPF and fall in love with the community, which ultimately made her stay! Although she might’ve planned on earning Officer, Patrick definitely didn’t think she’d achieve it in four months! I mean I guess quarantine has had it’s benefits or whatever. Don’t make me regret this comment, Patrick.
What are Patrick’s hobbies outside of RPF?
When asked about her hobbies, Patrick told Royal that she likes embroidery, baking, and playing guitar! That definitely sounds like a good mix of fun and different activities, I wish I could do those. Royal said she wishes she could get into more creative activities too, but, unfortunately, this isn’t Rane and Royal’s interview (which would absolutely be the best interview ever, no offense everyone else)! On a side note, Patrick should share some embroidery in #art, I’d love to see!
What does Patrick hope to achieve as a moderator?
Royal’s last question for Patrick was what she hopes to achieve as a moderator. Patrick’s ultimate goal is to be a role model in RPF, being someone new troops can reach out to anytime. It seems for new troops in the community, it’s hard to reach out and find a place at first. Patrick is right when saying we’ve all been there, trying to find a good ice breaker. But, hopefully with more people like Patrick, no stone will be left unturned, and everyone will be able to make friends here in this massive group!

Lime
In this fruity episode of Troop Interviews, I decided to interview a lime. But, this isn’t just any lime, this is current RPF Lieutenant Colonel, Lime! Let’s jump in and see what this zesty fruit had to say!

How did Lime find RPF? What made her stay?
Instead of asking who lives in a pineapple under the sea, I asked Lime about how she found RPF and what made her stay. Lime said she had just moved home and missing her friends, remembered on of them mentioned a reboot of the original CP! From there, Lime logged onto CPR for nostalgia and ran into F6sixer, current 2ic, who recruited her. Lime stayed because of the inclusive community and new friends she made when she first joined, which are still here today! I’m not crying, you are.
What are some of Lime’s favorite RPF memories?
Next, I asked Lime about her favorite RPF memories. Lime mentioned lots, including flooding main with poop pant after Strike Force events, becoming moderator and true lime color last November, winning 2 Olympics back to back, RAWSPAGHETTI???, and watching people rise through the ranks and see how far they’ve come. First off, rest in peace Strike Force. Also, all of these are amazing memories, I’m sure some of you can relate with these and feel the nostalgia too. Lastly, that last part was so wholesome that I admit, I am the one crying. Don’t hmu, iykyk.
If Lime had her own event, how would she do it?
After a short crying break, I asked Lime that if she could lead her own event, how would she have it? Lime responded with a costume event because she loves the puns everyone comes up with for suggestions! I agree with Lime when she says we have some creative and funny people here with the puns! It’s me. I’m the people.
What are Lime’s hobbies outside of RPF?
When I asked Lime about her hobbies outside of RPF, she said listening and writing music, playing video games, and watching “let’s play” players on YouTube! Lime also mentioned she’s making an album and if you heard her music, you’d be as OVER THE MOON excited as I am! Ahem, yes, professionalism. Anyways, in addition, Lime likes to play games such as Tetris, Animal Crossing, Mario Kart, and Minecraft.
Does Lime have any pets?
For my curiosity’s sake, I asked Lime if she had any pets. Thankfully she does, and they’re adorable! First up is Willy, her dog, and his stuffed friend Patch! Do not scroll without saying hello to Willy or else Rebel Bot will take all of your rebel cash.
So, I might’ve had a Toph moment when I asked Lime my last question too early. Accidentally, I asked Lime her last question before she could introduce her cute cat, Boo. He is old. I love him. I love his short tail. But, yeah, Lime previously mentioned she was going to take a picture of him, yet I am blind. Let the bullying in main commence.
What does Lime hope to achieve in RPF and in life?
Ultimately, I asked Lime what she hopes to achieve in RPF, and even life. For Lime, she doesn’t have many other goals for RPF other than to hopefully earn Veteran since purple is her favorite color. #Lime4Veteran For life, Lime isn’t sure, but in the end she just wants to be happy and surrounded by the people she loves! Lime is the most wholesome person I’ve met.
So far we’ve found out planets, sharks, and now even limes can talk. What could be next?

Ariana
Sorry, this isn’t Ariana Grande. Even better, this is Ariana, our newest Troop of the Week! And with our new TOTW comes a new interviewer, one of our Rebel Commanders, Cosmo! Let’s dive in to see what Cosmo had to ask Ariana.

How long has Ariana been in RPF?
Cosmo’s first and simple question for Ariana was how long she’s been in RPF for. Ariana responded she’s only been with us for two weeks! Two weeks! Earning Troop of the Week in your second week is quite the accomplishment, kudos! At this rate, she could get mod in another three weeks, HCOM a few more weeks after that, maybe even Rebel Commander just like Cosmo! The potential you all have is quite insane!
How does Ariana feel becoming Troop of the Week?
Next, Cosmo asked Ariana how she felt becoming Troop of the Week. Unsurprisingly, she said it felt amazing. Surprisingly, she said it felt like she just got cuddled by dogs! I think that is the cutest thing I’ve ever heard in my life. I don’t think I have ever heard someone say that before. There’s a first for everything!
Why does Ariana think she earned Troop of the Week?
Furthermore, Cosmo asked Ariana why she think she earned Troop of the Week. Ariana replied saying she thinks it’s because she has been active welcoming all new recruits and doing her best to stand out!
What’s Ariana’s favorite part about being Troop of the Week?
As well as why she thought she earned it, Cosmo asked Ariana what her favorite part about being Troop of the Week is. Her favorite part was having lots of people congratulate and support her for her efforts when she became magenta. Another shout out to the community, you’ve proven again to be the best!
What advice would Ariana give to people who want to be Troop of the Week?
For those who wish to be Troop of the Week, Ariana has some advice! Ariana’s advice is to stay positive and friendly, try your best to stay active, and try to stand out! Ultimately, she says to be yourself! These are definitely some key points, so start taking notes kids!
What are some random fun facts about Ariana?
Here are some fun facts about Ariana, discovered by Cosmo. First, she has a unibrow, and she’s proud! We love the confidence! Second, she can draw! I better be seeing that art in #art then! Third, she thinks Crazzy is better than Cosmo. Cosmo sort of agreed, responding, “Oh, that’s fine.” I also agree!
What is Ariana looking forward to as Troop of the Week?
Lastly, Cosmo’s final question for Ariana was about what she looks forward to as Troop of the Week. For one thing, Ariana hopes to be an ideal troop in RPF! In particular, she looks up to the icons and legends in RPF and hopes to be like them someday! Ariana wants to leave a mark in RPF’s history, and I can’t wait to see how she does it! #Ariana4Legend
In the end, Ariana’s final words were to remember to stay inside, wash your hands, and don’t forget to drink water! All of this was said before more congratulatory pings started flooding in, consuming her.
