This week marks the seventy-second official edition of “Troop Interviews”, where a team of interviewers (currently Brenatto, Yvng, Mars, Cracked, and Guinz) asks two or more people questions. Interviews won’t have the same questions; each interview’s purpose is to show originality and have its own unique highlights. Along with that, the questions asked to give us a better understanding of each soldier and how different or similar everyone is in the community. There’s an exponential amount of soldiers here in the Rebel Penguin Federation, so it will be difficult to get to everyone who requests an interview. The Rebel Broadcast Team graciously appreciates the patience you all have and hope to see you guys in a post one day!

Hey hey! It’s Yvng, and I’ll be your host today for this week’s edition of Troop Interviews. To start this off, we have Guinz interviewing two new Officer Cadets, Pink and Tatty! Let’s not waste any more time and jump right into it.
How long have you been in RPF?
Tatty: Since December last year 
Pink: 405 days (I joined June 26th 2020)
What’s your favourite RPF memory?
Tatty: it might be because I prefer being a Background Person™️ rather than a foreground person but getting 30-50 wild pings while watching something with my partner in another sever thinking it’s just event hyping n while trying to bookbind was an experience :coolflushed: like “??? they can’t be hyping for an event that much, surely???” and then checking the next day like “oh okay I’m a bit of a fool” (when getting totw)
Pink: favourite one memory is so hard to pick out… I like the olympics-es if that counts as a memory, like how excited ppl get. OMG HARRY POTTER WEEK that was so good
What motivated you to be where you are now?
Tatty: just being happy to be here; no thoughts head empty I just wanna vibe
Pink: me too 🙂 just going along with the ride haha
How did you feel when you first found out you were promoted to officer cadet?
Pink: excited, elated! I’d just been totw and maintained activity that week so I was hoping really bad that I’d get it, but also knew that I had more of a chance than I ever did before (and I applied many times for cadet before:hehe:)
Tatty: surprised because I thought it’d be harder than just apply one (1) time and getting let in right away :hehe: also a bit bamboozled because “wait I’m allowed to get this far” 
and we don’t have the time to unpack that second bit!
What goals/ranks do you hope to achieve in RPF?
Tatty: as far as I’m allowed to go / higher-ups will let me get :coolflushed:
Pink: I’d love to be hcom one day I think. I like being a part of things and I think I’d like getting to do more to help out in the actual running of the server. I think I’d like to be in the party planning committee
If you could transform into any living creature, what would you like to transform to?
Tatty: yk who’s vibing? pine martens
Pink: maybe a cat and sleep all day. cats have the best life.

Moving on, Mars got to interview current RPF Major Skyline Lazerl! Let us jump right into this and see what they both had to say!
How are you today?!
Skyline Lazer: Pretty much good, although I feel exhausted.

When did you first join RPF? 
Skyline Lazer: April 19 2021, close to 4 months soon
mars: awww nice! happy early four months to you 
How did you come up with your username!
Skyline Lazer: Ah, for this one, it’s time to clear up the confusion. I am a huge fanatic for cars, and my very first car I liked was Nissan Skyline GTR-R34, this is where the Skyline comes in. For Lazer, it was inspired by a Japanese Tokusatsu series called Kamen Rider Ex-Aid. In it there’s a character called Lazer, which he is my favorite. Hence the ‘Lazer’ name.

What’s your favorite RPF memory?! 
Skyline Lazer: Favorite RPF memory would be that the people here are very welcoming. I was invited here by mynas and the first person that was very kind to me was Pedro(ordeP). He is a very good person and I treasure him a lot as a friend. He guided me on how to use the bot channels, since I am pretty new to armies. I have heard of it before though.
mars: awwww that’s so nice 🙂 i agree everyone here is super welcoming and kind, which is definitely one of my favorite things about RPF <3 (special shoutout to pedro for being so awesome) 
What rank/goals do you hope to achieve in RPF? 
Skyline Lazer: Rank would probably be either Lieutenant Colonel or Colonel. I love the color. Goals is to become an Ausia mod for more friendly Ausia timings.
mars: omg yesss i love the teal colors sm it’s my fav troop color! and we stan ausia

If you could lead and design your own event, how would you create it? 
Skyline Lazer: Leading and design my own event huh. Since I am huge fan of music, I would design the outfit around Music Jam 2018/2019’s cap and the normal Boombox. There would be music related tactics and it would be called Dancin’ with the Beat.
mars: omg that sounds like so much fun! troops would totally jam out to that
If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?! :0
Skyline Lazer: My answer to this would be controlling the wind (Aerokinesis). My horoscope is an Air Sign and since air is invisible, it’s an invisible weapon which can’t be dodged by any means. I would use it for defensive purpose and would fly with it.

How do you feel about your Troop of the Week experience?
Rose: I think it was really fun to be honest, loooved the pink colour, a lovely shade haha. It was genuinely a lovely week and I had fun.
Cracked: Glad you had fun! The pink color is extremely cute, gotta agree there! I personally can’t wait to see where you’ll go next in RPF 
Why do you think you earned the title?
Rose: I think it was due to being active in chat, attending + trying with events and their themes. Being active with silly emotes and rubbish along with them definitely had me in chat a lot LOL.
Cracked: Definitely! You’ve been really active in RPF so far, always bringing up the mood in main chat and making friends, and your event attendance is great 
Those are all qualities that make up for an amazing Troop of the Week.
What are you expecting to accomplish next in RPF?
Seeing your suggestions get used during an event is always nice 
Cracked: LMAO that’s perfect! Keep on fighting the good fight as always, of course
