The 2022 Summer Olympics were announced! This season, the chosen theme was Phineas and Ferb, with members being divided into the teams Team 104 Days, Team Busted, Team Fedora, and Team Inator. In outfits inspired by the show’s characters, troops set out to participate in different Club Penguin mini-games in hopes of leading their teams to the top. Our 260th Troop of the Week is jpmg2k! She’s supported RPF ever since joining back in 2020 and has been super active throughout the Olympics, keeping the team spirit high and earning medals. Don’t forget to congratulate Jen when you see her around!

Each team’s Olympic team channel was bustling with activity and hype around the competition! Let’s see how many messages were sent in each one:

How many times was the .beansock command used?
On Friday only, to accompany our Bean Counters tournaments, the very exclusive .beansock command was added for one day only. The command was run 33 times by those seeking wisdom and good fortune from the holy beansock.

The time has come once again! Our annual Summer Olympics are here and this year, the theme was inspired by Disney’s Phineas and Ferb. Rebels were divided into 4 teams (Team 104 Days, Team Busted, Team Inator, and Team Fedora), where they gathered on Klondike for today’s Opening Ceremony, decked in their team’s uniforms. The four-way battle was intense as all teams brought their ‘A’ game, from their olympics-worthy tactics to smooth formations, showing their most inner-olympic spirit. We ducked and swerved as we did formations and tactics in preparation for the first Hydro Hopper tournament of the day. We’re still in the midst of this fun-filled and eventful day, so Rebels logged onto Klondike wearing their team uniforms for another Hydro Hopper tournament. During Operation: Hop Towards the W, Rebels showed off their flawless formations and tactics before competing head-to-head for the medals. Now’s the last time to shine! Before the day of events is over, Rebels logged onto Ice Breaker wearing their team uniforms doing some fabulous formations and tactics. With it being the last Hydro Hopper tournament of the day, everyone performed amazingly trying to jump and dodge those obstacles, as well as to make it to the top three.
