Let’s Go Baileyrino!

For her outstanding efforts since joining us in August, the 410th Troop of the Week award went to the wonderful Baileyerino! From chatting up a storm in main chat to hyping up events, she’s quickly become a familiar face to see around our server. As one of our newest Lieutenants, she’s been diving more and more into Rebel activities and has truly stepped into the spotlight. Congratulations, Bailey!

Bring On the Broadcast

Bringing you two articles this week, the Rebel Broadcast Team first caught up with three star members to learn more about their life outside of RPF! In the 37th edition of Day in the Life, RPF Veteran Sanya, Brigadier General Puddin, and Colonel Snackaroonie share their typical schedules and how they unwind after a busy day.

Next up, it’s all about a Rebel’s best buddy in the monthly Pet Column! Check out these fluffy friends to learn about theirs quirks and gush over the sweet photos. If you’d like the chance to be featured in an upcoming column, post a picture of your pet in our Discord’s #pets channel!

Fall Fair Festivities

Step right up, folks, and prepare to be amazed – and hungry! Until October 19th, the Fall Food Fair is taking over Club Penguin Journey’s island. With spectacular circus performances, festive mini-games, savory treats, and rare prizes to win with all your tickets, there’s something fun for everyone. Be sure to use the party walkthrough to make the most of the fair!

How many Rebels played Cart Surfer with our Viking allies?

After a practice battle together, the Rebel Penguin Federation and the Water Vikings gathered to play a combined Cart Surfer tournament, and 19 people signed up. In total, the Vikings earned 4,353 points and the Rebels earned 4,034, for a combined total of 8,387 points.
The average player earned 524 points, and our three surfers on the podium averaged 771 points.

How active were some of our miscellaneous channels in September?

Our Members posted 74 images to the #art channel this month, and sent another 102 messages discussing and hyping up the posted artwork.
In #food (currently named #alfreds-kitchen for our Batman server party!), the Rebels sent 354 messages. Of these, 123 messages contained food pics, yum!

Our non-human Rebels need a shout-out too! In #pets (currently named #gotham-zoo), 158 animals starred in our member’s photos. Cats were the clear pet leader, with 74 cats pictured, 48 dogs, and 18 snakes making an appearance.
Other animals include 11 penguins (in one photo), a hedgehog, fish, shrimp, a turtle, and a hawk or similar bird of prey perching on an evergreen tree.

Picture this: You… a puzzle… and one step closer to being a Scholarly Scarecrow! For this week’s challenge, Miggy has created a rebus. A rebus is a puzzle where you have to decipher the message using a mix of images and words! Successfully solve all 6 phrases or words to complete this puzzle.

DM Miggywaddles on Discord the solved Rebus puzzle for a prize of 250 Rebel Cash and to progress towards the Scholarly Scarecrow role!

Keep in mind, puzzle responses must be submitted before the next issue is released to be valid.

“Battles are a fundamental part of Club Penguin Armies, and sometimes armies host practice battles to hone their tactics. Our Specialist Velvetpeach attended her first practice battle last week, so let’s find out more!”

October 3rd – Rebel Penguin Federation vs Water Vikings practice battle.

“I started by asking Velvetpeach about how she found her first practice battle. She told me she found it really cool and enjoyed watching both armies at once. She also thought the speed of the tactics made them seem more important!

Next, I asked if she found anything tricky, as a lot of newer Rebels might be in the same boat. Velvetpeach answered that it was hard getting used to voice-chat tactics, but she got there eventually! It’s all about practice.

Lastly, I asked if Velvetpeach could host any themed battle, what would she host? She responded, saying she would host a dragons vs drag queens battle!

Thank you so much, Velvetpeach, for joining us for our battle and fighting the good fight.”
