Back in April, Tuxedo Times announced a new role system for our Challenge of the Week puzzles! Up until last week, Rebels got the chance to complete weekly puzzles in order to make progress towards the Springtime Solver role. Now that we are entering a new season, we are switching over to our Summer role! If you complete 6 weekly challenges within the next three months (by the end of August), you will be able to earn the brand new Smart Rebel Summer role!! As a reminder, each puzzle must be done the week they are released, but don’t worry because you’ll have plenty of time which also allows you to pick and choose which puzzles you complete! Scroll down to find the first puzzle that will count towards the new role, and don’t forget that every puzzle also rewards you with Rebel Cash!

Speaking of new roles and seasons changing, our new 2024 Summer Seasonal Roles are also out now! Be sure to read the announcement post for details on the brand new roles as well as how to earn them. The Rebel Broadcast Team has released their 16th Edition of Day In The Life, where we get a glimpse into the lives of fellow Colonel 37Terre, our Officer Cadet Alfie, and our latest Troop of the Week, Lieutenant Lawless! Big thanks to these individuals for sharing. Be sure to check out the post yourself and enjoy their stories!

Last but not least, we have some big news regarding one of our long-standing alliances! RPF has been brother allies with the Water Vikings for quite some time now, hosting practice battles together, helping out at each other’s events, fighting alongside each other in World War IX as part of the Blue Sunset Alliance almost exactly a year ago, and pulling off a large joint April Fools prank earlier this year. With our recent growth in relations, we’re excited to announce that RPF and the Water Vikings have come together to form the official Black Ocean Alliance!! We look forward to seeing all the things BOA will accomplish together in the future!

After announcing our new role system in April, we saw many rebels complete Tuxedo Times’ weekly challenges and make progress towards the Springtime Solver role! In the end, 26 people earned the role!!

Earlier this year on April 7th, Tuxedo Times re-introduced our Challenge of the Week column to provide our readers with fun puzzles and challenges, and to increase engagement with our weekly issues! Since then, we have seen a total of 8 puzzles so far. Let’s see how many people completed each one:
