Olympics in Hyrule

In homage to the famous franchise The Legend of Zelda, Rebels explored the land of Hyrule from June 8th to the 15th to compete in the highly competitive 2025 Summer Olympics! Throughout the massive tournament, teams Farore, Nayru, and Din battled in 15 mini-game competitions on CPJourney to see which team would be this summer’s victor!
Congratulations to Team Nayru for earning first place and becoming RPF Olympic champions! Check out the official results page to see how many medals were won, accumulated points, and Team MVPs from each team!

Some Legend-ary Numbers to Hy-rule them all…

With 3 mini-game tournaments held each day, let’s look at some fun stats that all participants accumulated together for each game!

Card-Jitsu:
21 rounds

Catching Waves:

48,830 points

Dance Contest:
53,892 points

Bean Counters:
166,456 points

Pizzatron 3000:

How many Rebels became a Rebel Olympian?

To be crowned as a Rebel Olympian, you had to attend either the Closing or Opening Ceremony and a minimum of 5 tournaments.

Out of the 111 participants, 44 were given the medal!

Buhnny Hops to HCOM

On June 30th, it was announced that Buhnny would officially join HCOM as RPF’s newest Third in Command! Joining the rebellion on June 1st, 2024, Buhnny’s passion for the community motivated her to advance through the ranks, leading to a staff promotion on August 19th of the same year. Throughout her journey, Buhnny demonstrated exceptional dedication, positivity, and leadership, which displayed the spirit it takes for High Command. Congratulations on this remarkable achievement, Buhnny!

Breaking Down Boxes

After suddenly declaring war on RPF, the fight against the Boxmen of Boxland ended just as quickly as it began on July 9th. Rebels arrived at the packaging facility with a formidable force of 56 attendees, while the Boxmen could only muster up one. They were easily crushed and shipped back to Boxland, and once the battle was concluded, we sealed the deal and the server Fiesta became ours!

Cementing Our Legend’s Cup XV Legacy

From July 19th to August 9th, CPArmies hosted one of the largest tournaments of the year: Legend’s Cup XV. After falling short of a victory three years in a row, RPF was determined to walk away as champions and reclaim the throne. 93 commendable Rebels fought the good fight against the Aliens at the Grand Finals, and after weeks of training and battles, the 2025 trophy was ours! Thank you to all the troops, staff, and veterans who participated; without you, this win wouldn’t have been possible!

Shoutout to Master DS for designing our trophy!

How many Rebels reached each giveaway tier?

Throughout the LCXV tournament, we held 9 training events and 3 battles. Let’s see how many Rebels reached each giveaway tier by accumulating attendance points!

Diamond – 53
Amethyst – 14
Ruby – 24
Emerald – 6

What do we want? A trophy! When do we want it? Now!

Master DS is the notorious designer of RPF trophies. Rebels were very excited to see the finished product, perhaps a little too much… How many times was “Trophy Now” said in main chat during the tournament?

It was sent an astounding 2,414 times! We really wanted that trophy!

Rebel Broadcast Rewind

Vet Spotlight

To kick off our Vet Spotlight interviews, the team met with longtime Rebel Mochii back in June! In her interview, Mochii discussed her accomplishments, her most beloved RPF event, and shared insights about her rise to Major General and receiving the distinguished purple status.

Moving to July, the spotlight was on Lime! She opened up about overcoming challenges, her experience as a Brigadier General, and provided advice for those aspiring to reach staff. Facing different hurdles than ones experienced today, Lime’s contributions in RPF remain commendable!

In August, an interviewer reached out to Roogy about her journey reaching Lieutenant General and personal experience as a Rebel over eight outstanding years. To explore Roogy’s story, aspirations, and even some interesting facts, be sure to read the post!

Cheers to our Troops of the Week!

For his impressive consistency, Firehose was named our next TOTW!

Glo
From taking the initiative to join Penguin Regiment, to maintaining a stellar attendance and bringing a radiant energy to our chat, Glo was easily named this weeks TOTW! Enlisting on the 4th of July, she proactively earned multiple seasonal roles, fought valiantly for our LCXV victory, and continues to participate in Rebel shenanigans. Keep up the fantastic work, Glo!

Kurtspages
The lovely Kurtspages, also known as Morgan, enlisted on June 11th and has been an exceptional member ever since! Her commitment as a Rebel was undeniable during LCXV, where she reached the Diamond tier for outstanding attendance. Always active in chat and spreading laughter, Kurtspages has been a wonderful addition to RPF. Congratulations on TOTW!

MamaJanae’s TOTW award recognizes not only for her strong attendance and activity, but also the calming presence she brings to our server. Great job, MamaJanae!

Neztlee
Although Neztlee enlisted at the end of July last year, he has recently become a very active troop in our server and is a familiar face to see in chat! Attending and hyping up as many events as he can, he always joins with a few fun tactic suggestions in mind! Now that Neztlee has exhibited impressive activity, we’re excited to see what he does next after earning the TOTW title!

Let the 2025 Summer Olympics begin! Divided into teams Nayru, Farore, and Din, RPF kicked off the massive tournament during Operation: The Legend of the Summer Olympics Opening Ceremony on Sunday! Dressed in their colorful uniforms, team spirit was high, and Rebels were ready to compete for the gold on CPJourney!

For the first mini-game competition, participants put on their ninja belts and went head-to-head in Card-Jitsu on Tuesday! The first battle of the elements was Operation: Play Your Cards Right, followed by Operation: Ninja Warrior. After many intense games, the Olympic teams had one last chance to win first place in the final competition of the day, Operation: Does Anyone Have the Sensei Power Card? I Want the Stamp!

On Wednesday, Rebels grabbed their surfboards and dove into the ocean for a totally tubular Catching Waves competition! For Operation: Splish Splash, professional surfers surely made their appearance and stood high on the podium. Eager to catch more gnarly waves, teams gathered for the second tournament, Operation: Ride the Waves. To conclude the day, Operation: Puffle Surfer commenced, and competitors shredded the waves for the final time!

It was time to to raise the roof for an epic dance-off on Thursday! Dancers put on their best dancing shoes and prepared to boogie at the Dance Contest. They started off the competition with Operation: Bust a Move, and scores were pure ice! Next up was Operation: Boogie Wonderland, giving Rebels another chance to get an epic win. Teams ended the day by competing in Operation: Just Dance, where participants danced their hearts out to win the gold.

By Friday, competitors who had started to feel tired were in luck because plenty of coffee was being served for a Bean Counter tournament! Fueled by caffeine and a latte passion, they helped unload the first trucks during Operation: Break a Leg(ume). After a much-needed coffee break, the teams went back to work for Operation: That Me Espresso. As tensions brewed, there was just one more tournament to grind: Operation: Mean Bean Counting Machine.

The Summer Olympics came to an end on Saturday, but not without one last saucy competition: Pizzatron 3000! With aprons and chef hats on, teams fired up the ovens for Operation: Ate and Left no Crumbs. After serving hundreds of delicious pizzas, we cleaned up the kitchen and prepared for the next tournament, Operation: In Cheese We Please. The final event of the Olympics, Operation: Cooking the Competition, was the spiciest of them all, marking the last opportunity to win a gold medal!
