Taking things back to 2007, Commando717 defied the blatant corruption within the Underground Mafias Army and, with a passion to create a positive community, founded the Rebel Penguin Federation on May 8th. At the time, Commando was completely unaware of just how strong and successful this army would become.
Throughout the years, RPF used various forms of communication, including Xat and Skype. However, in June 2017, Rebels officially moved to Discord, which has now grown to nearly 24 thousand members! From OGCP to CPRewritten, and now CPJourney, RPF continues to waddle on together. Explore our history to see how each era helped shape who we are today!
Now, we celebrate nineteen phenomenal years with a week-long birthday bash! For RPF’s 19th Anniversary, we’re going all out with 8 events, giveaways for partygoers, as well as bingo-style activities. One of the party tasks is to share your favorite RPF memory – whatever it may be, we’d love to hear it! Then, scroll down to the Challenge of the Week to complete another task.
But wait, there’s more! Get creative by decorating a birthday cake, designing a new RPF uniform, and participating in our upcoming contest! Be sure to read the post for details on the bingo card, and don’t miss our Anniversary Gala on May 9th to earn the exclusive 19th Anniversary Medal role!
TOTW Takes the Cake!
It’s been an extra sweet week for Cupcake! After joining us in December 2025, she’s officially been promoted to Brigadier General! Cupcake exemplifies what it means to be a Rebel – positivity, passion, and being a genuine teammate. For all her hard work and drive to grow, she’s been crowned RPF’s 387th Troop of the Week! This was just the icing on the cake of her accomplishments so far, with many more to come. Congratulations, Cupcake!
Rebels on the Runway

How many people have led the Rebel Penguin Federation?
There have been 76 unique Leaders of RPF, but several returned as leader multiple times! RPF’s current Rebel Commanders, Link3000 and Gabgeirl, are the 113th and 114th leaders, respectively.
The longest-serving Rebel Commander is Link3000, who will have been RC for 4 full years by RPF’s anniversary on May 8th, 2026.
Second to Link is Elmikey, who was leader for over 3.5 years (across 5 appointments), then Elexonck, who served as Rebel Commander for 3 years, consecutively.
All three earned RPF Legend for their accomplishments during their tenure on staff.
Of the current staff team, Link3000 is also the longest-serving staff member, having served on the staff team for 5.5 years.
What are our Rebel Penguin Federation server stats?
RPF gained 5,878 members between May 2025 and May 2026, growing to nearly 23.5 thousand server members!
There are 5,604 members in the Air Force branch and 7,846 members in the Navy branch. The size difference does not stop Air Force, however, who won both their last branch battle and breakday event!
Of our current enlisted members, 9% are from the AUSIA region, 18% are from the EU region, and a whopping 73% are from the US region.
As of the drafting of this column, the Rebels have sent over 2,652,000 million messages in #main-chat since May 8, 2025!
How does our server keep busy between tournaments?
There were 11 Olympics and 22 Parties since the Good Fight Gala in 2020.
In the Olympics, the Rebels earned a total of 11,735 points and 1,919 medals over the course of six years.
For the server parties, an average of 84 participants per party completed a total of 1107 tasks. The most popular party was Rebel Potter Week in October 2020, where 270 members participated, with the Rebel Rock Fest from August 2025 in second with 157 participants.
The most popular party task was during Rebel Potter Week when all 270 participants completed the Sorting Quiz to be sorted into their houses for battle. The Rebel Rock Fest also performed well, when 149 members voted in the Bracketology to select the top musical instrument. The winning instrument was the guitar!

Uh, reading? What’s that…? Kipbip simply had to spotlight the Rebels’ daily struggle to read. But hey, they surely have the birthday spirit!

In 19 years, we may have changed, but some things will always be the same.
Ihasparkelz is back and mixing things up with a mini quiz this week! In her specially animated comic, she challenges Rebels to a few RPF questions!

How well do you know RPF?
—◊ Challenge of the Week ◊—
19 years calls for 19 cheers! To celebrate RPF’s anniversary, Miggy has made a crossword puzzle with all things Rebel Penguin! Fill in the 19 words to complete this challenge.
This puzzle is a party task towards the RPF Anniversary Week bingo card!

DM Miggywaddles on Discord the solved crossword puzzle for a prize of 500 Rebel Cash and to progress towards The Gifted Hatchling role!
Keep in mind, puzzle responses must be submitted before the next issue is released to be valid.
