It’s getting pretty spooky on the snowy island of Club Penguin! CPJ is back with a frightening Halloween party and our Club Penguin News Team has got you covered with this 2026 party guide! From factions to tarot readings, we’re going to cover everything this party has to offer, so let’s get going!

Free Items
Creepy candle is located inside the haunted house
Haunted house is located between the forest and mine shack
The pitchfork is located in the Snow Forts
The pumpkin puffle can be adopted outside the Mine Shack
Tarot readings happen every 30 minutes in the Book Room and by doing them, you get a poster of the tarot card. Keep doing this until you collect all 22 posters.
Old Miners Helmet is available inside the Mine
Factions
There are 5 factions you can join by taking the quiz located at the top right of your screen. You may retake this quiz as many times as you’d like, but be aware, once you pick up a crest, you will no longer be able to change the team you’re on.
Fae
Located in the forest. The catalog is in the Hidden Lake

Located at the Docks
Hunters
Located at the Snow Forts
Wildlings
Located on the Iceberg
Vampires
Located on the Ski Hill. To obtain the background, you have to go through the Limbo Maze and speak with the Emperor.
Mazes
There are 2 mazes during this Halloween party
1 is located in the Dark Chamber accessible through the forest and the other is located at the Beacon
Dark Maze
For this maze, you will need to unlock the door by playing the piano. The rocks with play 3 melodies and you play them back like a game of Simon Says. Successfully doing so will unlock the door.
Next is the maze. There is a lamp for you to grab near the entrance; alternatively, you can wear dark vision goggles to see the entire room.
You’ve now made it to the final room of the dark maze! Here you can pick up a pair of free purple bat wings and shop the Monster Maker catalog located in the bottom right of your screen.
Limbo Maze
The Limbo Maze is located at the Beacon. This maze has a moving light, so if you touch the shadows, you’ll be sent back to the start. There are various check points you can reach and candies to collect. Reach the end to speak with the Empress and Emperor to get the Vampire background
Instead of heading to the right to complete the maze, go down towards the steps at the bottom right of your screen. Down there will be black ghost costumes for your puffles.
The first costume is free. Any after that is 50 moon candies.
Head up and to the right to continue on the maze
Remember that Crimson Rose we picked up at the end of the Limbo Maze? Now it’s time to equip it. Hold it in your hand and the blue rose on the balcony in the Vampire Castle will turn red. Walk over to it to enter the Crimson Moon Dimension.
Click on Moon Spirit to talk with her. There will be a cut scene and at the end, you’ll receive a background
Moon Candies
To purchase all the Halloween goodies, you must use Moon Candies. To acquire moon candies, you have to go through other people’s igloos in the dark and find their candy stash. Your igloo also must be open with a candy stash. You will earn candy for other people visiting your igloo.
