DAY IN THE LIFE – 18TH EDITION

Hii Rebels! We are back for the Eighteenth Edition of the Day In The Life column For this edition, we’ll be interviewing a recent Major, and Two newer Rpf Officers, With working up to Major recently with the weekly promos, and with these RPF Officers day to day tasks in the mod team, let’s take a look and see what happens in their day to day lives in and outside of RPF

Buhnny

Hello hello!! Thank you Madz for choosing me to talk about a day in my life! Well, to start off I’m an early bird so I’m usually up by 6/7 am. I’ll put on a feel-good show and light a candle to get the vibes going, right now I’m chewing through Fruits Basket for like… the fourth time. My cat (who’s the best animal to ever exist and his name is Kitty) is my needy lil shadow so I’ll feed him and snuggle up on the couch, check our Discord for any updates throughout the day and see what I’ll need to work on. I try to be as active as I can either with my laptop or mobile! Ngl… I’m also a clean freak so I make sure everything is nice before I get started on anything else, then I’ll get ready and cutesy for the day. After all that, I always make an effort to get outside for a few hours either doing art, hiking, or shooting my air rifle. If I have chores to do, I’ll head over to the laundromat (apartment life slay) which is luckily only a few blocks away, go to the farmers market for some fresh veggies, or help out with my nephew (who is also right down the street)! Breakfast and lunch are typically simple and I’ll just throw something together, but I go alllll out for dinner. I also play video games on my PS5 quite a bit, mostly shooters. I’m on a R6 Siege grind right now! Lastly, I always end my day with a movie, and my cat will let me know it’s time to lay down by standing at my bedroom door and meowing lol. What a goof. I’d say that’s a wrap on an average day for me!

Nick

A typical day in my life, hmm. On weekends I usually go somewhere or hang out with friends, but my weekdays mostly look the same. I wake up and go to work, usually no breakfast. I was a preschool teacher before I moved to a different state this year and now I work with a start-up providing therapy to kids with special needs. After work I usually do some kind of hobby, I hop around a LOT. Things like making clay keycaps, crochet, drawing, coding, etc. If there’s an RPF event or something I’ll go to that as well. Then I’ll either cook dinner, eat out, or order in. I live with my fiancé so we do most of those things together. We usually watch an episode of whatever show we’re watching while we eat dinner. Afterwards, I usually get on vc with friends and play games together maybe, if there’s a new indie game that I’m interested in I’ll play that instead. Lastly, I head to bed, do the NYT Dailies, and maybe read some manga/manhwa before sleeping. 😀

Patro

A day in the life of Patroclus will always start with a coffee. I’m fortunate enough to have my own barista espresso machine so I can pull a shot of espresso every morning and make myself an energising coffee to prepare my brain for the day ahead. It’s usually an oat milk latte, but I recently discovered a gingerbread oat milk that has changed the game for me in the last few weeks, and left me feeling very autumnal! When I have time in my real-life schedule, I’ll load up Discord on my laptop to check through any messages, chats, and pings that I may have received since the day before. There’s always a friendly face in RPF to say hello to! Outside of RPF, you’ll find me waddling around the Club Penguin Journey island. I love chatting with friends, joining in a Fashion Show contest, or trying to grind as many stamps as I can in the minigames. I’m up to 183 stamps! I also run a CP Journey cheats & guide blog that I regularly update too, which takes up some of my time. Every Tuesday morning I find myself uploading the latest pin location, and I’ve spent many a late evening (or rather early morning) creating guides for the latest Penguin Style catalogs or party. I always try to find some time for recruiting too, even if it’s just thirty minutes or so of waddling around the island and seeing who would be interested in joining our wonderful community. In my evenings, I like to watch TV or read. I’m currently reading a novel called ‘In Memoriam’, which I would highly recommend to anyone else trying to have their Connell Waldron Autumn. My sleep schedule used to be great, but since joining RPF not so much! I tend to stay up for the US events where I can, unless I have an early start the next morning.

Huge Thank you to Buhnny, Nick and Patro for letting us learn more about their day other than just Rpf life! and thank you guys for reading, hope you enjoyed and until next time.
