Greetings, Rebels! We are back with another edition of the Pet Column, where Art, Citrus, Miggy, Morgan, Gwen, and Meg show off the amazing pets of RPF! Mewmoopoo and Brodie
Name: Brodie
Age: 18 years
Coat pattern: Tuxedo
Favorite Foods: Marshmallows, grass, cat churro, and tuna
Gwen: How did you come up with his name?
Mew: His name is from one the characters in the movie JAWS, because our whole family loves the movie, and he bites like a shark I guess it makes sense xD
Gwen: How/where did you get him?
Mew: My mom was friends with this nurse that was looking to get rid of some kittens, and my mom asked to speak to the kittens on the phone, and brodie meowed instantly so he was our first choice, the nurse mentioned he also had “double paws” which my mom has never seen before on a cat!
Gwen: What is one of your favorite stories or memories with Brodie?
Mew: Honestly the best memories I’ve had with Brodie, is when he would b there and cuddle with me or my family during tough times, you can always count on him for comfort and to make you feel happy
Gwen: Does he have any favorite spots to lay or hide?
Mew: His favorite spots to lay are either in the sink, or in my old bean bag chair that he stole from me
Gwen: What are some of his most prominent personality traits? Is he shy, crazy, sleepy, etc.?
Mew: He’s very affectionate, every night he’ll cuddle with someone in my family when we’re all together, very needy, he’ll meow at us for water until we turn on the sink (even though he has a bowl) or he’ll nonstop meow for us to open the door to get outside (he’s an indoor cat lol)

Ling and Zoey
Name: Zoey
Age: 11 years
Breed: Golden Doodle
Favorite Foods: Milkbone or Yak treat
Gwen: How did you come up with Zoey’s name?
Ling: Actually, her OG name she came to us with as a puppy was Nora and I believe it means Zoey (she’s one of 8 siblings). My sister wanted her name to be Penny but I said she gives energy and vibes of a Zoey so that’s how we came up with it!
Gwen: What is one of your favorite memories with Zoey?
Ling: Aww there’s so many but I think my one fav memory of mine with her was when she was a lil baby puppy and we used to live on a much bigger property than we do now. It was in October too so the different color leaves was on the ground and I was playing hide and seek with her. She was oh so cute, her lil head and body popping up out the ground. She was the same color as the leaves too
Gwen: Does she have any favorite toys?
Ling: She’s got a trunk full of babies as we call it. She’s got quite a few so I’m finna list the ones I know off the top of my head – her lambie (lamb chop toy), this cute lil dog that our neighbor bought for her birthday, her og babies (moose, blue dog) and more. She licks and bites her babies but care for them as her own!
Gwen: Can Zoey do any tricks? If so, what are they?
Ling: The most she can do is paw and sit and lay down. I can’t seem to teach her any new ones because she’s old lol

Paige and Archie
Name: Archie
Age: 2
Breed: Pug
Favorite Snack: Carrots
Miggy: How did you come up with his name?
Paige: Honestly I didn’t come up with the name, my dad did, but I think he was inspired by the Archie comic books! I think the name fits him perfectly though since he’s such a cute little guy. 🙂
Miggy: How did you get Archie?
Paige: He was a surprise from my stepmom to my dad, we had two pugs growing up so we are a pug family!
Miggy: Does Archie know any tricks?
Paige: He knows how to sit and (sort of) high five but if you don’t have a treat, he definitely won’t do it for you
Miggy: Do you have a favorite memory or story with him?
Paige: Hmm that’s a good question. Probably anytime that I have to chase him around the house since he loves to get into toilet paper and unroll the whole thing across the floor
Miggy: If Archie could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Paige: Probably Italy to try all the spaghetti and yummy food haha
