Munchie and Snoopy

Name: Snoopy
Age: Unknown
Breed: Mixed / Unknown
Favorite Food: Canned wet food
Gwen: How did you get Snoopy?
Munchie: My grandpa’s ex-employee had someone living in his apartment who was moving and couldn’t take him, so they were asking around and the guy told my grandpa and he said yes so we had him ever since.

Gwen: Do you have a favorite memory or story with him?
Munchie: One of the times I came to visit the cats during our time of not officially living at our house I couldn’t find Snoopy anywhere and so I asked my grandma where he was and all nonchalant, she said he ran out and wasn’t seen since like the day before. THANKFULLY as we were gonna leave back to the airbnb she calls for me to go to the backyard because he was there so then I called him and yeah I brought him back in the house and he went to solitary (my mom’s room) my heart bro I was literally crying.

Gwen: Did you name him Snoopy or was that already his name?
Munchie: That was his name already from his previous owner. It suits him so well we kept it!
Gwen: Does Snoopy have any favorite places he likes to lay or hang out?
Munchie: He likes to sit at the window and stare outside, he misses his short lived in the wild. WOMP WOMP LIL BUDDY. Keep missing it.

Gwen: Does he have any fun traits or quirks?
Munchie: Yes! Whenever he’s making biscuits on me or when I’m petting him, he will drool into the blanket so I have to keep myself covered or he will drool into my clothes, it’s cute but also annoying when I’m trying to sleep and all he wants to do is DROOL ON ME.
Bee and Atlas

Name: Atlas
Age: 4
Breed: American Corgi
Favorite snack: Cheese
Miggy: How did you get Atlas?
Bee: We actually went to get my brother’s dog Baxter! The breeder is a family friend who had not meant to have a litter but had 3 babies left. We loved all 3 so much and she knew we’d take good care of them and gave us all 3 for the price of just his!!
Miggy: How did you come up with his name?
Bee: I love Greek mythology and Atlas is the name of the Titan who was punished by Zeus to hold up Uranus (the sky) so as not to touch Gaia (the Earth). Also, the name of one of the two little robots in Portals 2. Peabody and Atlas!

Miggy: Does Atlas know any tricks? If so, what are they?
Bee: He’s a little stubborn, but he does know sit, down, speak, quiet, and place!

Miggy: What is your favorite memory with Atlas?
Bee: Definitely when we brought him home!!!!! They’re so precious
Miggy: If Atlas could have any superpower, what would it be?
Bee: Omg he would probably want to be able to talk because he is barky and reactive. I bet he’d love being understood when he’s yelling at the world
Miggy: Does Atlas have a favorite toy?
Bee: He loves those long-stuffed dogs that are the trademark of PetSmart! He has them in basically every color and drags them around with him all day long. He even has one I keep in the car when he goes to doggy daycare.
Alexotics and Alan & Marshall

Name: Alan
Age: 9
Breed: Burmese Python
Favorite Food: Rabbits
—
Name: Marshall
Age: 2
Breed: Super Dawrf Reticulated Python
Favorite Food: Rats
Gwen: How did you come up with their names?
Alexotics: Marshall just seemed like a cool name that would suit his big square head when he’s full grown lol. There was a fair amount of thought behind Alan’s name. We wanted something that would make him seem less scary and the soon evolved into middle aged British men’s names which eventually came down to a choice between Dave and Alan which family and friends voted on.
Gwen: How did you get them?
Alexotics: We got Marshall from a lady who was moving house and forced to downsize her collection. Alan was listed on some site like pets4homes or Preloved for £150 including his vivarium.

Gwen: How often do you feed them?
Alexotics: It can also change depending on time of year – not just cause they can go on strike over the winter but also cause they tend to eat (and therefore, shed) more often in the summer in the wild and we try to replicate that. Generally, Marshall eats every 10 days and Alan eats every 6 weeks.

Gwen: Do they have any fun traits?
Alexotics: Alan got a mouthful of substrate after finishing his rabbit and I watched as he purposefully used his tongue to push the substrate out of his mouth! Marshall is a typically retic (industry shorthand for reticulated python) and loves to climb which also means he loves to take off your glasses.
