REBEL REWIND: THROWBACK THURSDAY-12/23/21

Hey Rebels! Welcome back another to issue of Rebel Rewind, RBT’s History Column! Each week we will be looking at a moment in RPF’s past so that you get to learn more about the history of this prestigious army! Without further ado, let’s dive into this week’s historical moment.

December 30th, 2020

Throughout most of the Club Penguin history, Adobe Flash has remained an important part of the Club Penguin experience. From the Original Club Penguin game to Club Penguin Rewritten, these games were designed on the basis of Flash. Towards the end of 2020, it was announced that Flash would be stopped on December 31st. To remember the importance of Flash to RPF, an AUSIA event was held on Club Penguin Rewritten.

This event would see a max of 49 penguins and would be one of the last events of 2020 and the Flash era. After a record breaking year with large sizes for the army, the event titled One Last Time celebrated the importance of Club Penguin to all of us. While today we have moved to Club Penguin Rewritten’s HTML5 version, Flash will always remain dear to us and for that it has contributed to RPF and the army community.

Hope you enjoyed this edition of Rebel Rewind! Be sure to tune back in soon for a new edition full of bite-sized RPF Historical moments!
