Hey, Rebels! This week marks the #115th edition of our “Troop Interviews”, where a team of interviewers (currently Angie, Artistic23, Firehose, Mollsr, Morgan, and Thomas) asks three or more people questions. Each interview’s purpose is to show originality and have its own unique highlights. Along with that, the questions are asked to give us a better understanding of each troop and how different or similar everyone is in our thriving community! There’s an exponential amount of members here in the Rebel Penguin Federation, so it won’t be easy to get to everyone who requests an interview. The Rebel Broadcast Team graciously appreciates the patience you all have and hope to see you guys in a post one day!
For this edition of Troop Interviews, we met with Plum, Shrek, and Thomas!
Plum
Starting us off, we have Captain Plum, interviewed by Thomas!
You took a hiatus from RPF after joining over 6 years ago, what has changed from when you first joined to now, and what is similar to how RPF was several years ago?
It’s amazing to see how RPF has changed over the years, from the people, the rank system, and the way events are set up. We’re so glad you returned to us, Plum!
Pretty soon after joining you became TOTW #118 on November 23, 2019! Do you remember how it felt to receive this honour, and do you have any advice for newer troops who may be wanting to attain the title?
Very wise advice from Plum, receiving Troop of the Week is such a wonderful honour because it showcases that you’re such a valuable asset to our community!
Do you have any pets?
What a beautiful dog, we absolutely love to see all of our member’s loving animals, which is shared through the #pets channel in the Discord Server , and our very own Pet Column!
Across all your years in RPF, what has been your favourite RPF memory?
Being one of the first ever Officer Cadets is an insane achievement! We’re so glad Plum has so many wonderful memories, and look forward to seeing him make even more now that he’s back!
If you could time travel, would you rather go back in time, or to the future, and why?
A very touching and powerful response, the past definitely holds a lot that desires to be returned to. The future is also a very interesting concept.
Do you feel that RPF has made a positive impact on you?
We’re so happy that RPF has had such a positive impact on you, each and every one of our members are so valuable to us! Fight the Good Fight!

When did you join RPF and what has kept you here?
Wonderful answer, Shrek! Our community is very inclusive and immersive!
What is your favourite part of RPF so far?
The RPF community is a very common answer in response to these kinds of questions, we’re very glad to see so many people enjoying our community.
Do you have any goals here in RPF?
Very true, Angie! Being a part of us automatically means you are a part of our enriched history, but aspiring to rank up is always wonderful!
What is something you enjoy doing outside of penguin life?
It’s always wonderful to have different kinds of hobbies, both online and offline!
What keeps you motivated and going?
Those are two very sweet reasons to keep motivated, the RPF community is a wonderful place to find many people you can have several conversations with!
What advice would you give to a new troop here in RPF?
Truer words have never been spoken, Shrek! Our community is definitely very welcoming to all of our Troops, new and old!

Finally, we have General Thomas, interviewed by Morgan!
When did you join RPF and what was it like when you first joined?
Our catalog guides are certainly a very popular method for bringing in new troops! We’re so glad the community was so loving and welcoming to Thomas!
What/who inspired you to get where you are now in RPF?
We’re so proud to have such a lovely and helpful Staff Team in RPF! Also, having a buddy to rank up with is an awesome way to form strong, long-lasting friendships!
As of now, what is your proudest accomplishment as an Officer?
The hype we have for our current Legends Cup, and the rest of our tournaments, is always very, very strong! We’re also forever thankful for our wonderful mascot trackers!
When you received Troop of the Week back in November 2025, how did it feel?
Achieving TOTW is such an amazing honour in RPF and it definitely helps you to immerse yourself further in the community! Thank you, Thomas, for spreading such wonderful insight about being TOTW!
What are some random fun facts about you?
It’s always so interesting to find out fun and interesting facts about our members! These are some very fascinating facts about our General Thomas!
Now that you’re General, what is your favourite thing about it, and do you plan to aim higher towards HCOM?
A very lovely answer, Thomas! We definitely value all of the staff in our server, from Officer Cadet, all the way to Rebel Commander!
