Presenting… Peacherys!

Sweet as a peach, our very own Peacherys was crowned as RPF’s 408th Troop of the Week! Although she joined just over a month ago, she was not shy when it came to participating in the Olympics and working with Team Kofu. At the rank of Lieutenant, Peacherys has shown stellar participation in all our events and activities, and there’s no doubt she’ll continue to climb the ranks. Congratulations on the fabulous feat, Peacherys!

Inside the Broadcast Buzz

Sit back, relax, and enjoy four new Rebel Broadcast posts! If you have a passion for fashion, then the fabulous Behind the Signature Item segment is the perfect fit for you, where three troops showed off their unique RPF flare before sashaying away down the runway.

The team swapped focus from couture to canvas for September’s Art Column. This month, they challenged Rebels to get creative around the toasty ‘Campfire‘ theme. Check out the post to see their illustrations along with other impressive RPF artwork!

Who up surfin’ they carts?

During our Cart Surfer tournament, 31 Rebels participated. They earned a total of 11,517 points and averaged 372 points each. For our Penguins on the Podium, they averaged 542 points.
Beyond the members who competed, our #main-chat was rolling with conversation during the event, mentioning surf 58 times and cart 119 times that day.

How far did we look back during our Throwback Practice Battle?

This week, the Rebel Penguin Federation and our allies, the Army of Club Penguin, took to the battlefield with a twist…a Xat-led Throwback Practice Battle! In #main-chat, Xat was mentioned 234 times, 205 of which were on the day of the battle! That same day, penguins called each other old 27 times.

Are you a scarecrow who’s also feeling scholarly? For this week’s puzzle, Miggy took to the TuxTimes suggestions and found an idea sent in from Major General Bee! In this Paint by Numbers, you’re given a basic guideline and encouraged to use your artistic freedom to make the drawing come to life. Paint the drawing accordingly to complete this challenge!

“Recently, our RPF Veteran Erin took a trip to some national parks and shared photos of her journey in our #art channel. Curious to find out more, I sat down for an interview with her.”

“I first asked Erin where she went for her getaway. She told me that she went to Alaska’s national parks, which was her first time going! She plans to go back over the summer. Be sure to send us some more pics, Erin!

Next, I asked about a favourite memory Erin had from the trip, which was from their trip to Lake Clark National Park. She saw lots of wildlife, including 30 bears, some moose, whales, and more! In addition, there were some glaciers too, which she said were beautiful.

Finally, I asked what Erin would do on her trip next summer. She told me she really wanted to visit the Gates of the Arctic National Park, which can only be accessed by plane or hike. This makes it a bucket list item for her.

Operation: Back to Our Roots was quite the blast to the past! The Rebels were transported to the land of Xat to follow tactics in a practice battle against our allies, ACP! Logging on to CPAB – Klondike in their uniforms, the Rebels kept their well-known fighting spirit alive and showed they haven’t forgotten where they came from! Check out the nostalgic scenes below!
