The Party Planning Committee announced their annual winter party, Rebel Grinchmas. Throughout the week, troops participated in various Grinch-themed events and solved riddles in hopes of catching him and saving Christmas. Check out this post for each clue’s explanation, RPF members’ holiday traditions, and more.
The semi-annual Active count is here. In order to keep your rank you must fill out this short form with your rank and name before January 3rd. Everyone who fails to do this will lose their rank and become a visitor, so go go go!
This week’s Troop of the Week is Joel_FS13! He joined RPF in September, attending numerous events since then and being a friendly face to see in chat. Make sure you congratulate Joel when you see him around.

With one of the biggest battle event of the year over, we held a fun Legend of Zelda-themed event to commemorate. In Operation: Legend of Zelda, we donned Zelda-inspired outfits and went on a marvelous adventure around Abominable. We were definitely not afraid to show off our mystical tactics with courageous formations. To show off our wits, we rounded the event off with some rounds of tricky Connect Four. Read on for more magical moments!

With us almost halfway through our Rebel Grinchmas week, we celebrated our first official event with a classic hide and seek event! For Operation: Searching for Santa we logged onto Sleet with our elf costumes in search for Santa (HCOM). While in our search, we stumbled upon and successfully invaded our new land, Arctic. We searched the island high and low with our gift-wrapped tactics and elvic formations! Read the post below to see if we found Santa!

After a strong start to our Rebel Grinchmas week and just around the holiday corner, why not continue it with another fun game event! For Operation: Timbre, we logged onto Abominable wearing our festive tree costumes. While lighting up the island, we also successfully acquired our newly invaded land, Jack Frost. With our spirits riding high after a victory we celebrated with a game of musical chairs! Check out the post below to see the winners and more on our successful invasion!

For Wednesday’s EU event, we held a BIA Sled Racing Tournament with the Ice Warriors at an event called Operation: A BIA Christmas. The rebels dressed up in their festive red and green fits and waddled up to Ascent for a joint event with IW, and both RPF and IW performed lovely tactics and formations.
