Vet Spotlight: Crazzy

Ever saw those purple names in chat and wondered who they are? Every RPF Veteran has a story, and today marks the first edition of the new Vet Spotlight column – a column where Sharki, Yvng, and I will take you through the story of some of RPF’s most famous Vets! Today, we are starting with one of RPF’s most well known vets and CPA Legend: Crazzy.

Crazzy – also known as Crazzyhead – is known for being a great leader and Rebel Commander during Generations XXVI, XXVII, and XXVIII.

She was recruited in 2019 while playing Club Penguin Rewritten. Just a month after joining, she received the 101st Troop Of The Week title. As an exciting troop wanting to get more involved in the CP Army community, she joined Strike Force – a third branch that used to exist to give troops more extensive tactic training.

With the arrival of the Summer 2019 Olympics, she became an extremely active and well-known troop and shortly after joined the Staff team in September as a Brigadier General.

As soon as she became an Officer, Crazzy knew she wanted to be HCOM one day. She never backed down from a challenge and was constantly striving to find ways to make RPF better. After just 3 short months moving through the mod ranks, Crazzy was promoted to Head General on December 16th, 2019. As HCOM, she would go on to lead numerous Strike Force training events, major battles like the Defense of Tuxedo against the Chaos Army, create the RPF Twitter, Rebel Broadcast, and the Officer Cadet (or mod in training) role.

As Second in Command, she was mentored by Silverburg and gained hands-on training to eventually take over as Rebel Commander on June 3rd, 2020.

Crazzy and her co-Rebel Commander, Cosmo went on to lead RPF to some of its greatest maxes in history including 89 at AUSIA, 162 in the infamous Legends Cup X competition, 130 in the Fright or Fight tournament, and over 120 during the Christmas Chaos X tournament.

She didn’t just majorly impact RPF, but the Club Penguin Army community as a whole. Together with Cosmo, the Ice Warriors, and Dark Warriors leaders, she helped to create the Black Ice Alliance – an alliance that is still active and present today! Crazzy was named Best Allied Leader by the Ice Warriors and the Dark Warriors as well as received the titles of Person of the Year, Best Advisor in CPAH, CPA Legend, Best Major Army Leader in the community, and RPF Legend.

To quote Crazzy herself, “Leading definitely taught me to have more patience when working with people, and that organization is key. RPF is a huge community and you need to be able to manage an army of that capacity with diligence“.

After her retirement in January 2021, Crazzy became an RPF Advisor, helping the current HCOM lead RPF to their next great successes!

Crazzy is a great example of how anyone can rank up and become a great leader, all it takes is perseverance, a willingness to learn, and maybe some pretty cool penguin hair.

Thank you to Crazzy for all that you’ve done for RPF and CPA, and for letting us tell your story!

Thank you rebels for reading along and learning more about Crazzy! Stay tuned for future additions to learn more about the Veterans of RPF, and their story behind their rank.
