Welcome to the fifty-ninth edition of the Art Column, where our reporters (currently Ella and Moonlemur) have seen and gathered some amazing artwork made by and for the Rebel Penguin Federation!
By definition, “art” can be best described as…
“…the expression or application of human creative skill and imagination, typically in a visual form such as painting or sculpture, producing works to be appreciated primarily for their beauty or emotional power.”
Due to this, the Art Column’s purpose is to promote all types of art. This includes whether it’s digital or physical, something you can hear or something you can see, and even if it’s RPF-related or not. However, please do also keep in mind due to so many members in our group; not everyone will get recognized each week. Nonetheless, we hope you enjoy our weekly gallery and keep creating!
Theme of the Month

“Ghouls Just Wanna Have Fun”, by Maddawg
“This year, the ghosts were tired of the penguins having all the fun, and decided to throw a party of their own! Inside the mansion, the eeriest of events is in full swing. Our fun-loving phantoms are practicing their potion-brewing prowess in the enchanted rings of fire, exploring the mad-scientist’s experiments in the lab, finding their fortunes in the crystal ball, and strolling through the spooky hallway where the paintings’ eyes seem to follow them as they pass. One of the apparitions is even playing a few new compositions on the organ, and his melodies fill the manor. Outside the ghoulish gathering, you’ll find the ghosts galavanting around the graveyard, prancing around the pumpkin patch, and trembling beneath the trees as they try to decipher whether those red, glowing eyes peering from the swamp’s cave are looking right at them. These happy haunts are anything but horrifying, and embrace the idea that”
