Mars, a Tuxedo Times team member, has retired from RPF at her rank of General. Her determination and dilligence through her time as staff for over a year had not gone unnoticed, and she has been awarded the title of RPF Veteran. We wish you a good retirement Mars, and thank you for your contribution to RPF!

The Branch Spirit Weekend was introduced by the Party Planning Committee. Over the course of three days the Navy and Air Force will be competing in various activities where each time will have to work together to prove what the best branch is. Check out this post for the full weekend schedule and other information.

The Igloo Decorating contest has come to an end. Find out this post to see who took the Igloo Innovator role home and the runner-up submissions! Moreover, The Contest Team has partnered with the RBT Art Column to bring you the first ever RPF Inktober Contest, which will be running until November 1st. Read all about it here.

Three new limited time shop roles, including a payout one, have been introduced! Until the end of October, you’ll have the chance to buy the brand new Jack-O’-Lantern, Transylvania Guest and Dracula roles. Run the .shop command in #dennis-computer to check them out!

Troop of the Week #217 is maggie! She joined back in August and has been attending events regularly while also being active in chat with her kind and welcoming presence. Be sure to congratulate maggie when you see her around!

The Rebel Broadcast Team released three posts throughout the week. This week, leading up to and during our Branch Spirit Weekend, a total of 249 Air Force emotes were used, not far behind the 284 Navy emotes used!

How many people bought each of the new roles?

Three new Halloween-themed roles were introduced to the Rebel Cash Shop this week! The Dracula, Jack-O’-Lantern, and Transylvania Guest roles were purchased by 77, 66, and 66 people respectively!

BOO! It’s the month for Halloween and the Rebels are all getting prepped for it. Donning our Halloween 3D glasses for Operation: Spooky Third Dimension, we had a fa-boo-lous time on Abominable performing spooky tactics and probably some haunting forms. For this event, we held a trick-or-treat themed event called Operation: Handful of Pumpkins. We waddled onto Zipline to show off our pumpkin baskets and to perform some spicy tactics and formations. Check out the post below to see more event pictures!

Werewolves, Vampires and Zombies oh my! To embrace our monster creating creativity, we logged onto Zipline for Operation: Monster Mash. Everyone created their own monster creatures that put Frankenstein monster to shame! From the laboratory in the castle east, to the master bedroom where the vampires feast we performed ferocious tactics and frightening formations. This event, Operation: Flex, had the rebels flexing their favourite items that have a special dance, on Zipline. It was great to see the variety of dances that everyone brought to the server! At this event, Operation: Be Gay Do Slime, the rebels logged onto Abominable donning the Swamp Monster costume. With gay tactics and slimy formations, we transformed the Town and Iceberg into a marshy green swamp! The event sure oozed fun, so be sure to read more about it in the post below!

For this special event, we held a Halloween-themed Kahoot as our first Branch Spirit Weekend event. Rebels from both branches showed off their knowledge of the festival while eagerly answering the trivia questions. In the end, Air Force ended up taking the first place trophy!

For the next event of our Branch Spirit Weekend, we held a Jetpack Adventure tournament called Operation: Skirmish in the Sky, but this time it was Air Force and Navy going head to head! We flew up to Abominable to show off our unicorn and horse outfits and to perform some delightful tactics and formations. Check out the post below to see which branch won!

For this Branch Spirit showdown, we held a capture the flag event called Operation: Capture Chaos.
